BQ33 (QLD 3-on-3 basketball) tournaments are set to tip-off in June in 2009.  After a wave of success and positive feedback received from the tournaments held in 2008, the format will be expanded to include mixed teams as well as a variety of age groups.  Basketball Queensland have invested heavily into the technology side of BQ33, with a number of portable electronic scoreboards currently on order from the USA.  These scoreboards will allow both the players and spectators to better follow the progress of games, all powered by a small remote control held by the court official.  This is not only a large commitment to the playing comfort of BQ33 participants, but also an investment into the future of 3-on-3 basketball in Queensland. 


Due to insufficient numbers the Toowoomba Tournament has been cancelled for Sunday 26 July.
