Country TI Camps Kick off

The SA Country T.I. & Development camps have played a very important part in the identification and development of country based athletes over the past 14 years.

The many coaches who have given up their time to attend these camps over this period have been instrumental in this area, teaching a strong work ethic together with the fundamentals of the game. Players who attend these camps are given an experience of what is required to be a part of our representative programs in the future.  With the emphasis on a strong skill base, discipline & work ethic that becomes an important part of our State Program teams, our prime objective throughout the camp is the development of all players attending, with the hope that players enjoy the experience and leave with clear pathway & the necessary goals to compete at the next level.

  • South Camp (Mount Gambier) 27th-29th September 2008
  • North Camp (Whyalla) 3rd-5th October 2008
  • Central Camp (Murray Bridge) 9th-11th October 2008

We had a total number of 269 junior athletes and 48 coaches attend these three camps in 2007, providing more opportunities for regionally based players and coaches alike.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
