SA Country Women dominate National selection

Four of our SA Country graduates have been selected in the 16 person Opals squad in preparation for the 2013 FIBA Oceania Championships.

Congratulations to Cayla Francis from Eastern Hills (top photo), Abby Bishop from Port Pirie (middle photo), Stephanie Talbot from the Yorke Valley (bottom photo) and Tess Madgen (Barossa Valley) who have been named in this squad and will attend another training camp under Head Coach Brendan Joyce in Victoria next week.

The 16-strong squad headlined by a string of 2012 Olympians will knuckle down for five days of intensive training in their last camp ahead of the FIBA Oceania Championships from which the team to take on the New Zealand Tall Ferns will be selected.

Congratulations and best wishes to all of our SA Country girls.
