Hi All,

Please be advised that the Senior and U18 Junior Country Championships will go ahead as planned for this long weekend.

After serious considerations about weather, financial/travel arrangements and the heat policy SA Country has made the decision to move the competition into two air-conditioned stadiums.

The championships will now be run at Titanium Security Arena and The ARC Campbelltown.

We are in the process of reviewing all fixtures in order to suit the new stadiums. We will aim to get the revised fixtures done by Tuesday 5pm.

With the forecasts still showing extreme temperatures we will also be playing by the modified rules for the tournament. This will include the following amendments:

• At the five minute mark of each quarter there will be a compulsory time out of 1 minute to allow for rest and rehydration
• This time out will be in addition to any time out called by the competing teams
• All coaches and team managers are to ensure that adequate water is available for players
