2008 John Spooner Trophy
I am pleased to announce that Port Augusta has won the John Spooner Trophy for the most successful Association competing in Division 1 grades at the recent 2008 Metro Holden Junior Country Championships.
Port Augusta won 15 of the 17 minor round games that their teams competed in with a win / loss ratio of 88%
Runners up for the second year were Port Pirie & Mount Gambier with Millicent coming in fourth.
Congratulations to all the Port Augusta players, Coaches and Managers.
