2008 Regional Talent Squad
The U/13 Regional Talent Squad Program
The U/13 Regional Talent Squad program is a key component of SA Country Basketball’s representative player identification and development strategy. The program was established because of an identified need for a more systematic, thorough and unified approach to identify and develop outstanding junior Basketballers (born 1996) and assist and develop their mental skills, individual skills and team concepts which will aid them to compete successfully at Representative level.
The Regional Talent Squad Program along with the Development Network Squad Program (DNSP) is an integral part in SA Country Basketball’s vision to becoming a leader in basketball development for Country based athletes.
Athlete Selection
Athletes are selected to attend the Regional Talent Squad Program in a number of ways. Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
