2017 Young Achievers

Each year SA Country sends 180 athletes to Country Cup and Southern Cross Challenge, teaching not only basketball but life skills to all. Some of these young athletes choose to continue their journey as coaches and team maangers, continuing the great work of those who have been before them.

In a new intiative, this year we recognised some of these young achievers who have had 5 or more years service to SA Country Basketball at the conclusion of their playing days. These were;

Rhianna Stringer (Whyalla)
Brayden Dalitz (Murray Bridge)
Jackson Thomson (Roxby Downs)
Ash Biddell (Yorke Valley)

Congratulations and thank you to not just these 4 young adults but all of our passionate volunteers.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
