2017 Ivor Burge Trials
Basketball SA invites all interested athletes to participate in trials for selection in the 2017 SA Ivor Burge Men and Women state team.
The Ivor Burge Championship is a National Championship for players with an intellectual disability.
Please see the attached information flyer for trial dates and times.
Teams will participate in the Australian Ivor Burge Championships at Bendigo, Victoria, from 11 to 19 February 2017.
The trials are open to all eligible players from South Australia.
Venues: Pasadena Sports Centre, Cnr Goodwood and Daws Roads, Pasadena & Marion Stadium, Norfolk Road, Marion
Players are required to bring:
- A light and dark coloured playing singlet OR reversible
- A basketball with your name on it
- Enough bottled water for 1.5 hours of exercise (1 L minimum).
Players should arrive at the trials 20 minutes in advance of the scheduled start time to register.
If you have any questions or issues (including if you are injured but would still like to be considered for selection), please contact the head coach prior to trials.
