2014 City Holden U12/16 Junior Country Championships
SA Country would like to thank all of the participating players, coaches, managers, referees and score bench officials for their support of the U12 & U16 Junior Country Championships held in Adelaide on 22 & 23 March 2014.
In particular, we would be lost without the efforts of Beth Serle, Sharon Venn, Graham Catto, Bert & Suzanne Bargeus, Cheryl Barnett and Michael Rogers who managed venues for the weekend as well as the assistance provided to them by a great number of volunteers throughout the weekend.
The work in preparation for both weekends takes several weeks and Beth Serle, Sharon Venn, Karen Cunningham and Cheryl Barnett are thanked and congratulated on their outstanding work in all areas.
We would also like to acknowledge the support of our sponsors; City Holden, Sports Centre and Spalding. Their support allows us to keep nomination fees to a minimum and improves the quality of the event.
17 Divisions of competition saw 13 Associations take home titles and a further 8 Associations played in Grand Finals.
Congratulations to Shayelan Paech (Murray Bridge) on being awarded the Sally-Jane Allen Memorial Trophy for MVP in the U16 Girls Division 1 competition.
