Announcement re: Jason Bald
Following consideration of his position within the new South Australian Basketball High Performance structure, Jason Bald has accepted a redundancy, effective last Friday, 20th September.
Over the last 8 years, Jason has been responsible for the development of hundreds of athletes within SA Country, most recent inductees being the Regional Talent Squad that saw SA Country with record representation of athletes in this year’s SAPSASA state teams.
The most recent highlight in results was the bronze medal win of SA Country girls at the 2013 U16 Australian Junior Championships in Adelaide.
I invite you to join me in wishing Jason well in the future.
Peter Todd, SA Country Development Officer, will assume many of Jason’s duties and should be first point of contact for high performance and development matters.
We will advertise for a Country Player and Coach Development Officer in the coming weeks.
