There are 3 (free) child safe officer training courses being held next week. 

At this stage the registrations for the Marion course are low (which is very unusual) and to ensure the course goes ahead we ask that people register as soon as possible.

The course and resources have been updated recently and we continue to receive outstanding evaluations for this course. We do however recommend that organisations only send one or two people and ask these people to take on a role as a child safe officer to provide support and education to their organisation.

I have also attached for your information a sample job specification for the role of child safe officer. 

I would also like to remind you that the latest print of the “Keeping children safe in recreation and sport” booklets are available so if you haven’t ordered some and would like them please let me know.
