2013 STARCLUB Club Development Conference

The Office for Recreation and Sport with the support of the South Australian National Football League is pleased to present its annual conference targeting community sport and recreation volunteers and administrators.
The conference is designed for club and association staff, board/committee members and volunteers. Twelve sessions covering key club issues will be offered on the day. Organisations are encouraged to send multiple representatives.
Each session will cover a different topic with guest speaker(s) from across the industry. The workshops are part of the Office for Recreation and Sport’s commitment to building a capable and sustainable industry.
Sessions on offer include:
- Changing the culture of your club
- Recruiting junior members
- Club constitutions
- Managing volunteers
- Basic club finance and grants
- Writing a good club strategic document
- Leadership from your State sporting organisation
- Working with your local council
- New WHS and Liquor Licencing laws
- Using social media in your club
- STARCLUB program
