SA Country is seeking a referees coordinator for the upcoming Junior State Championships.
Responsibilities of the Referee Coordinator include:
Rostering association nominated referees to stadiums
- Liaising with UIC at stadiums to ensure appropriate referees allocated based on level and ability
- Liaise with SA Country Executive Officer on issues relating it referees
Desired qualities include:
Experience in assigning referees to competitions
- Ability to make object decisions on referee assignments whilst considering both championships requirements and referee development needs
- A knowledge of Country basketball and referee community
- Strong verbal communication skills
Referee Coordinator reports to SA Country Executive Officer, James Rattus
