The application for an International Visitors Permit MUST be completed and submitted prior to your arrival in Australia. Your entry will not be finalised until this documentation has been received.
To aid in the process and to decrease any delays in your departure the following forms also need to be submitted prior to arriving in Australia, Export Declaration, ICS Registration Form and Restricted Goods Permit (RGP).

Incorporating the 2009 IPSC Australia National Handgun Championships
The Arafura Games 2009 - Pistol Shooting - IPSC (Level 3) in conjunction with the 2009 IPSC Australia National Handgun Championships, has been endorsed by and has the full support of IPSC International, IPSC Australia Inc and IPSC (NT) Inc.
Event Details
The Championships will consist of 18 stages with a minimum of 330 rounds and will be conducted during the week of the Arafura Games 2009, 9 - 17 May 2009.

Event Rules
The Championships will be conducted as per the current IPSC International Rules in force at the time. These can be viewed at http://www.ipsc.org/
Event Location
The Championships will be held at the Top End Practical Shooting League Pistol Club (TEPSL), Acacia, located approximately forty five minutes from the Marrara Sporting Complex.
The club was the venue for the recent 2007 IPSC Australia National Handgun, Rifle and Shotgun Championships. The Championships attracted over 300 competitors, including competitors from New Zealand, Philippines, Russia and USA.

Darwin has a variety of accommodation to suit all budgets, tastes and special requirements. Almost all of Darwin's accommodation houses are located close to the Central Business District (CBD) and a short drive from sporting venues. These range from five-star hotels, motels and apartments to backpacker-style accommodation. An accommodation service will be operating closer to the Games. Keep checking the Arafura Games website www.arafuragames.nt.gov.au to see when this becomes available.
