VJBL Update
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but please see below the latest update from Basketball Victoria.
Return to Sport Update - As of July 1
VJBL
At this stage, due to the impacts of the lockdown zones we have decided that the VJBL season cannot commence from July 17. We believe that the VJBL is an important junior representative league for thousands of Victorians; hence we are currently working through a number of options for a potential competition resumption. We aim to provide more certainty about the VJBL in the coming days.
Whilst this news is disappointing in regards to a return to competition date, the club is still hopeful basketball will return shortly. We are continuing to work with The Rings and the schools and hope to have further clarity regarding access to their courts and a return to training date in the near future. As always, we will continue to keep you updated with the latest information as it becomes available.
