Coronavirus Update - 17/6/2020

Pending Government approval, Basketball Victoria are hoping to re-start the VJBL competition on July 17th with Under 12 to 18's and then the following week (July 24th) with Under 21's getting underway.
The Club is working with Council and our local Schools regarding the best way to re-start Basketball in our area.
We hope to have more information regarding our Senior Domestic, GEBC, BigV and development programs in the very near future.
COVID is still an issue and so we can expect a few changes at the stadiums when we return to action.
There is still work to go, but the signs are positive that we will be bouncing balls again very soon.
We will update you with more info as we get it. Stay well.

Dear Club Members, Players, Coaches, Parents and Supporters.
Effective immediately, The Ringwood Basketball Association is suspending all junior and senior Midweek competitions and programs until further notice.
In addition, we also confirm that the GEBC Saturday junior domestic competition has been suspended until further notice.
Also, there will be no VJBL junior trainings, Sunday or midweek until further notice.
The RBA will continue to update its members on the operations via our website and social media to ensure everyone is kept up to date.
The RBA has not received any confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus from any of its members, the decision to close is to reduce the chance of infection to our members and slow potential transmission and community spread of the virus. We are taking direction from Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia and the DHHS.

As of 4.00 pm today, Basketball Victoria and the VJBL/Big V have confirmed to the Ringwood Basketball Association that all Basketball Victoria managed competitions are immediately suspended.
In addition, we also confirm that the GEBC Saturday junior domestic competition has been suspended until further notice.
