Season 11 For Hawk Spillane

On a team that will have a different look about them in 2020, veteran guard Kate Spillane will be back again for season 11 for the Ringwood Hawks in NBL1 2020.

Spillane has been a key member off the bench for the Hawks in recent seasons and is well known for her ability to be able to impact the game at either end of the court. In last year’s inaugural NBL1 season, Spillane averaged close to 4ppg, 2 rebounds and over 1 assist but was also called upon regularly for defensive assignments.

“Kate is the veteran on our team but is still incredibly valuable.” Hawks Coach Tim Mottin said.

“She is aggressive and impacts the game but as Coaches we can always rely on her to be ready to go for whatever job we need done.”

Spillane joins Toni Farnworth and Danni Bone as returning players from the 2019 team, but the Hawks will have also some big announcements coming soon regarding key new additions.
