Adelaide Airport
Adelaide's domestic and international terminal is located approximately eight kilometres from the City centre.
All of Australia's major domestic airlines, Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue operate multiple domestic flights to Adelaide every day. Regional airlines flying to Adelaide include Airlines of South Australia and REX - Regional Express Airlines.
International Airlines flying direct to Adelaide include Singapore Airlines (US, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East), Malaysia Airlines (US, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East), Qantas (Asia, Europe and US), Cathay Pacific (US, Europe, Asia and Middle East), and Air New Zealand (New Zealand and US).
The South Australian Visitor & Travel Centre has an information desk at the airport to assist visitors upon arrival and provide information on the City.
Public Transport
Adelaide has a very efficient local transport system, running buses, trains and trams throughout the City and into the suburbs and beyond. The system operates with a variety of ticket options to suit your needs.
Public transport tickets can be purchased onboard (except multi-trip tickets), via convenience stores, newsagencies, Post Offices, Rail Stations and from the Passenger Transport Information centre in the CBD. The tickets are also interchangeable between services enabling you to travel on buses, trains and trams.
Taxis
There are numerous taxi companies operating in Adelaide. Taxis can be booked or hailed from various taxi stands located throughout the City and suburbs. All taxis in Adelaide accept major credit cards and Cabcharge.
Hire Cars
There are numerous hire car companies in Adelaide. Car and 4WD hire cars can be arranged from Adelaide Airport or at a variety of locations in and around the City. Driving Distances from major Australian cities are:

Central Bus station
The main bus terminal in Adelaide is the Central Bus Station, located in Franklin Street, Adelaide. All intrastate and interstate buses depart from and arrive at this bus station. Three major coach companies have regular services to and from Adelaide.
The bus station is currently being redeveloped and will be a modern facility to welcome visitors for the Championships.
Coach services to Adelaide and South Australia include luxury vehicles, cheap and cheerful direct routes, and services that include some touring activities. Many coach companies offer both single fare tickets and coach touring passes.
Train stations
Adelaide has two train stations. The Adelaide Railway Station is located in North Terrace Adelaide where all metropolitan train services arrive and depart. The Keswick Railway Station (two kilometres from CBD) is where interstate and long haul trains arrive and depart.
