Rockets men add new faces to coaching staff
Our ABL men will have two new faces on the bench next to Head Coach Justin Schueller this Central ABL season. Graham Kubank and John Della-Pia will be first and second assistants respectively.
Graham, a former 36ers player was also a North player in 91 and 92, comes back to coaching in the senior league after head coaching positions with South Adelaide and Sturt and also as an Assistant with the Lightning and 36ers. In a different twist Graham also coached Justin over seven years when he was a senior player. "Graham taught me a lot about the game as a player and we have maintained a friendship since then. I know he will add great experience and insight to our team." Coach Schueller said.
John Della-Pia is also a former player of North playing from 1974 - 82 at the club. This year he came back to the club as our under 16 boys coach where he has had great success so far. "John will bring a new found passion to our group. His enthusiasm and read on the game are definite positives for us." Coach Schueller said.
Both of last years Championship Assistants Paul Robinson and Matt Roberts had to stand down this season due to work commitments.
