NWBU Juniors Switch To Courtside Scoring
The 2018 North West Junior Basketball Union junior competition will be delivered through online competition management and via Courtside, Basketball Australia’s tablet based scoring system.
With the move to Courtside there are a wide range of benefits

- Administrators – 100% of fees collected at the start of the year rather than chasing people through the year

- Administrators – no more lost scoresheets, wet scoresheets, illegible scoresheets
- Administrators – draws are created at a click of a button.
- Administrators - redraws due to teams pulling are done in under 1 minute as opposed to hours
- Administrators – traffic is driven to our website leading to opportunities for sponsorship and marketing
- Administrators – reports on who has qualified for finals can be done in under a minute as opposed to manually adding up players off score sheets

To help parents, administrators and referees get ready for the move to courtside free training sessions will be offered on the North West Coast to show how the system works. This session, run in half hour blocks starting at 5.30pm – 8.30pm will be held at :
- Burnie – Upper Burnie Sports Centre – Burnie Club Rooms 22 March
- Ulverstone – Ulverstone Sports and Leisure Centre – Upstairs Function Room 26 March
- Latrobe – Latrobe and Districts Youth Centre – Latrobe Club Rooms 28 March
