Help Registering to Basketball
Registration should start with your local association/ club because then all three (State, Regional & Association/Club) fees will be paid.
The order structure of fees for the north-west coast are the following:
- Basketball Tasmania Registration Fee
- North-West Basketball Union (NWBU) Fee
- Local Association/Club Fee

If your name (or the person you are registering) appears more than once during the registration process, please contact your association as they will need to merge the duplicate records for you.
NB: It is important that you contact your association and don’t select the wrong profile as you may be asked to register and pay when your registration fees are not due.
Question: When I login, my name or a family member’s name appears multiple times on the left-hand side of the screen. Which profile do I select?
Answer: It is important that you don’t select an incorrect record as you may be inadvertently asked to register and pay when you are not due.
Please contact your local association/club to obtain the relevant FIBA ID number for your association/club when you are unsure which profile to select. Your association/club will be able to provide you with the relevant profile and remove any duplicates from the system. However if the duplicates live in other Leagues or due to other competitions this may not be the case and those Leagues will have to resolve them.

Question: Why must I enter the information requested to participate in basketball?
Answer: This information allows the sport of basketball to grow in your local community. By providing this information, it can help your basketball association or club make decisions to administer the sport more efficiently and effectively, for the benefit of all. Question: Why are my registration fees listed as separate amounts?
Answer: Products from your state, association and club can appear on your registration form, these products are unbundled. This means they have separate prices, so you can see how much each party receives. This provides transparency to all within the basketball community.
