Thunder will be holding its Annual General Meeting upstairs at Schweppes on Thursday the 9th November, commencing at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend to listen to some feedback on the “year that was” and be involved in the early preparations and plans for 2018.

We are asking for nominations for new Committee members, including someone to fill the Financial Controller role, as a number of our Board will not be continuing in 2018.

Nominations forms need to returned by the 20th October by either posting them to NW Tall Timbers Thunder Basketball Club Inc., PO Box 158, Ulverstone TAS 7315 or emailed to enquiries@nwthunder.com.au We ask any interested nominees to get their paperwork to us before that date.

Please don’t be daunted by taking on a role. No previous experience is necessary and everyone that wants to be involved will be given the opportunity to “crawl before they walk”.  We have a professional group but also have a lot of fun and are expecting to have a very rewarding season, after the team got through a transitional period this year with flying colours.

We are very confident we can build on that next year.  We are also mindful that some people may just wish to “help out” rather than taking on a more formal committee spot.  We welcome anyone who simply wants to volunteer for a job, perhaps around our home game nights.  If you are interested in volunteering or being on the committee and being part of a great team please email enquiries@nwthunder.com.au
