Under 22 Results - Friday 16th September

The Wynyard women’s team nearly caused the upset of the round, going down to the much more fancied Ulverstone team by only 2 points. A poor third quarter enable Ulverstone to get back into the contest. Sarah O’Neill single handily got Ulverstone over the line with a team lifting 24 points.
 
Somerset women regained the Kathy Hendricks Shield over Burnie. A big second quarter by Somerset set up the win, in a good standard game.
 
As expected Penguin were way too strong against the young Smithton team.
 
Latrobe women started well against Devonport but fell away badly in the second half. Paige French led all scorers with 23 points.
 
After a poor second quarter, the young Devonport men’s team came home with a wet sail in the second half to nearly pull off a remarkable victory over the more experienced Latrobe outfit. Devonport’s Harrison Williams led all scorers with 15 points.
 
Penguin men were far too strong for the young Saints. Fraser Eaton put on another outstanding shooting display, scoring 33 points.
 
Burnie at full strength, completely outclassed Somerset, putting on a great shooting display.
 
Ulverstone stated the game well against Wynyard, building a match winning lead by half time. Harry O’Neill continued his good form, with a game high 24 points.
