Penguin women take on Ulverstone in the Grand Final at Penguin starting at 7pm. These two teams met in the second semi-final with Penguin coming out convincing winners.

Penguin will go into this game as clear favourites. Unless Ulverstone can restrict the scoring ability of Rebecca Abel who is presently in outstanding form, it will be a long night for the Red Hoppers.

Penguin has a lot of depth and have many other players that can give them different scoring opportunities. Marnie Shepherd, Maddison Hayward and Marlee Johnson have been in good form throughout the roster.

Ulverstone must step up their defence to contain Penguin’s offensive threats, to give themselves a realistic chance. Ulverstone will rely heavily on their experienced players; Jessy Price, Charlotte O’Neill and Chelsea Gleeson.

The undefeated Burnie men’s team will play Penguin. Penguin will be out to atone for a disappointing loss against Burnie in the second semi-final.

Burnie has good bench depth and are able to rotate players freely, to keep the defensive pressure intensity on their opposition for the whole game.

With Penguin playing on their home court they will be full of confidence in their ability of scoring beyond the arc.

If Penguin can get their offensive game going this will be ripper of a game.

Key players for Burnie will be their experienced players: Joe Chilcott, Isaac Plant, Emmitt Smith and youngster Tre Armstrong.

For Penguin they will rely heavily on; Ryan Cook, Tyler Kelly, Fraser Eaton and Jaylen Beveridge.
