After a close first quarter, Burnie women stepped up their offensive game against Smithton, shooting at a high percentage. Maddie Atkins was the standout player of the game scoring a game high 26 points which included many three pointers.

An undermanned Latrobe women’s team were completely outclassed in an extremely one-sided game against Penguin. Rebecca Abel continued her great form shooting six three pointers, top scoring with 26 points.

In front of a good crowd, in a good standard game, Ulverstone’s women’s experienced was too much for the young gallant Devonport. Jessy Price continue her good form scoring a game high 18 points.

In a poor standard game, with the umpiring the only real highlight. Somerset women managed to get the points over Wynyard.

After a very even first half, Burnie men decided to turn up the tempo, to end up winning comfortably. Burnie men outscored Smithton 47 to 14 in the second half.

In front of a good crowd, the Latrobe men produced one of their most disappointing performance of the season. After half time Penguin took complete control, shooting eleven three pointers for the game. After losing the last two games Latrobe’s form slide is a real concern.

Giant killers Devonport men, claimed another scalp in Ulverstone. In front of a good crowd, the game was a tough physical affair. Young Nic Bingham of Devonport has really grown in confidence this season and will be one of many Devonport’s younger players that will help rebuild the Devonport senior men’s program. Nic led all scorers with 26 points.

Somerset men were too strong for Wynyard. Brad Wescombe had another ‘blinder’, scoring an incredible 42 points.
