With only four games to go in the U22 roster. It appears that the top four teams in both the men and women rosters are locked in.

In the women’s roster; Ulverstone, Penguin, Burnie and Somerset make up the top four.

For the men’s roster; Burnie, Penguin, Latrobe and Ulverstone make up the top four. Somerset has an outside chance of making the four.

Although the final positions within the top four is still very much up in the air.

Latrobe hosts Ulverstone, the men’s game will be the match of the round. Both teams sit third and fourth respectively. Ulverstone needs a win to cement their spot in the finals.

Ulverstone women who sit on top of the ladder, should have little difficulty in winning this one against the young Latrobe team.

Devonport are at home to Penguin. The Penguin women will easily account for the improving young Devonport team.

The Penguin men will start favourites and should win. However, Devonport are very capable of causing an upset, if they can restrict Penguin’s ability of scoring heavily outside the 3 point line.

Burnie take on Somerset at Burnie. The women’s game will be a great battle and it is hard to pick a winner. Burnie will be without Taylor Mole, while the ever reliable Sammi Phillips will cause many headaches for the Tigers defence.

In what will be a very physical game, the Burnie men will have too much experience and should continue their unbeaten record against Somerset.

Smithton travel to Wynyard in what should be two hard fought out games. Smithton will start favourites in both games, however, Wynyard are more than capable of getting the points in both games.

There is a great chance that the Wynyard men could claim their first win of the season against the Saints.
