The introductory course is for anyone interested in learning more about basketball and the game's rules. Whether you are interested in actually refereeing or not, this course also provides coaches, players and spectators with a sound knowledge of the game of basketball and how rules are interpreted. Young and/or current referees who have not attended accredited training for more than 18 months would benefit from using this course as a refresher. The training is free and conducted by experienced referee coaches and mentors.
