Introductory Referee course on Sunday, May 1

An Introduction to Refereeing course (Level 0) will be held at the Murray Bridge Basketball stadium on Sunday May 1 from 10am to 3pm.
Please bring a pen, paper, whistle, drink bottle and comfortable clothes & shoes to move around on-court. Lunch will be supplied.
There is no cost to attend, however please register by April 27 with Sam Le Gallou on 0400 258 949 or at slinky_sam@hotmail.com or with Lisa Gepp on 0401665670.
New referees who have started officiating in the local competition are expected to attend. Current referees without official training completed in the last two years are encouraged to attend.
Training events such as these are:Free
for anyone to who is interested in becoming a referee
or for someone who wants to extend their knowledge of the rules of the game (ie players, coaches, parents)
a basic introduction and you will not learn the entire rulebook
a beneficial refresher for referees who have already obtained their Level 0
without an exam or on-court assessment (neither are required at this level)
without obligation for course participants to referee local matches
