Saturday evening saw Bullets play Barossa Valley which proved to be a very seesawing, hard fought game.  Barossa scored first, but Seidel responded quickly.  Great combined team effort from Bullets saw scores from Jacqui Altmann, Tara Yeates, O’Leary and McKerlie with great support from Tayla Kempe.  Bullets improved their rebounding under the basket and Bratkovic shot beautifully to take the lead by 1pt.  Barossa were off to a quick start in the 3rd with 3 quick goals and Bullets became unsettled and Barossa took advantage of this and came out winners 41-28.

Strathalbyn were the next opposition on Sunday with Bullets starting well to lead 7-0 at the end of the 1st quarter.  Strathalbyn put their 1st points on the board in the 2nd quarter but bullets were too strong when Strathalbyn tried to come back in the last quarter.  Bullets 29-22.

Sunday night we played Midura and it was goal for goal.  Scores made by Yeates, Altmann, Kartinyeri, Seidel and O’Leary.  Kempe tried hard for her team against strong opposition.  McKerlie read the play beautifully to intercept and pressure her opponents and the half time score was 19-19.  It was a fast and furious 3rd quarter by Mildura who took the lead away and Bullets had to play defensively.  Bullets worked tirelessly and fought back,  Seidel shot a brilliant basket beyond the three point line on the siren to close the game.  Mildura came out winners 40-39.

Monday morning Bullets played Pt Lincoln.  O’Leary scored first but Pt Lincoln answered quickly. Kartinyeri intercepted well and drove strongly giving scores to Yeates and McKerlie but Pt Lincoln got a run on.  Kartinyeri was working hard in defence to hassle every pass and the game was played at a fast pace.  By the end of the 3rd Bullets trailed 20-34. Bullets scored first in the last quarter and lifted their defensive work rate to rebound strongly.  Bullets closed the gap to be down by 6 with time running out but Port Lincoln went ahead again to win 45-37.
