Geelong has given itself the chance to break a 10 year title drought after winning game two of the Big V division one grand final series against Warrnanmool 94-78.
The Cats led at every change, and held the advantage for 36:41 of the match, putting the exclamation mark on it with a 26-20 final period.
Jason Reardon was the undoubted star of the contest, finishing with 35 points, including 7-of-10 from outside the arc, and 19 rebounds.
Chris Brown also impressed with 17 points and 12 rebounds, before fouling out late in the match.
Seahawks' coach Tim Gainey did all he could to get his team over the line, finishing with 25 points, while import Cameron Mitchell had 18 points and 13 rebounds.
