Supercats To Show Cats On The Big Screen

In their first and only Sunday game of 2009 season, the St Laurence Geelong Supercats, are opening the pre game corporate function to all game night ticket holders and showing the Geelong Cats vs Melbourne FC game on the big screen.

All fans with a game night ticket will be able to enter the function from 3pm and enjoy the AFL game in warmth and then catch the action when the Supercats take the court against SEABL newcomers, the Sandringham Sabres.

General Manager, Damian Waight, said Geelong sports fans should enjoy the opportunity to watch two great games on Sunday.  “Many football and basketball fans will welcome the opportunity to watch both the Cats and Supercats in the one venue on the same day” Waight said.

Sunday’s game is the second in a crucial double header weekend for the Supercats as they strive to keep their top two chances alive.  They travel to Kilsyth on Saturday night, a court they have struggled to win at in recent years before the must win home game on Sunday.

Tickets for Sunday’s game are on sale all week and on Sunday night from the Supercats ticket office, telephone 5277 1711.
