Gold Star Classic Wrap
On Saturday we played Bendigo, defeating them 63-21.
We followed this with easy wins against Castlemaine (70-19) and Benalla (80-20).
Sunday saw us match up against Warrnambool, coming away with another convincing win (52-25).
The next two games were against Mildura (59-21 ) and Colac (56-20).
The elimination final on Monday morning against Ballarat was more challenging and forced us to step up, again coming away victorious.
The grand final was the icing on the cake with a win of nine points against Wodonga.
They made us dig deep and find the determination and focus to finish off a nine game weekend undefeated.
All the boys played hard and gave everything they had to come away winners of the tournament.
We are now looking forward to playing in the U14 National tournament in Queensland in September.
