BIG V Youth League Womens Coach 2010
Basketball Geelong is calling for applicants for the position of Coach with the Geelong Cats team in the Big V Youth League Women’s (YLW) Division.
The successful applicant will ideally have head coaching experience at senior level, but coaches who have demonstrated success at junior levels will be considered.
The head coach of the 2010 Geelong YLW will bring to the job passion, knowledge, authority and a drive to win, but should also have an eye on developing players for the future.
The successful applicant will be a coach who is structured, organised, disciplined and committed to taking the program forward.
Basketball Geelong sees the Geelong YLW Coach as being someone to help set the standard for the association’s entire representative program – both senior and junior.
The YLW’s Coach will work closely with the Geelong Lady Cat’s Head Coach Grantley Bernard, as well as with the Assistant Coaches to ensure the delivery of an integrated women’s program that delivers competitive outcomes and that provides appropriate development for young women players.
The Basketball Geelong Big V Womens program has access to leading training and conditioning facilities and will be supported by a physiotherapist and nutritionist.
