Western Australia’s Senior Men’s team took out the trophy at the ALA 2013 Senior National Championships.
The tournament was held last week from Wednesday, June 5 to Saturday, June 8.
Their first match was to SA on June 5th. SA was defeated, 10 goals to 6. MVP for the match was goalie legend, Warren Brown. (WA10, SA6)
Their second match was to Japan June 6th and they took out the win again, 12 goals to 10. Match MVP, Tim Stone. (WA12, Japan10)
Their third match was a turning point for the team when they were defeated by Victoria, a nail biting 7 goals to 6. MVP for the match was Thomas Graham (VIC7, WA6)
But on the Saturday they took out the trophy when they pounded VIC, 11 goals to 6, and were announced the National Championships for 2013.
Congratulations to all the participants in the tournament and a special congratulations to the WA teams, coaches, managers and supporters. Congratulations to MVPs, Warren Brown, Tim Stone and Thomas Graham.
