NZ Tall Ferns Trials and Training Camp Being Held in Christchurch
Canterbury Basktball is excited to have the Tall Fern’s in Christchurch from Saturday 9th August 2014. Huge congratulations to local girls Erin Rooney and Toni Edmonson, as well as New Zealand Home Loans Wildcats' players Shea Crotty and Hayley Gray, who have been named in the 19 strong squad.
With the Tall Ferns team now announced - we can now let you know about all the Tall Ferns open to the public sessions - hope to see you at some of them! Big congratulations to Wildcat Captain Shea Crotty, and cantabrian Toni Edmondson for being named in the team, as well as Hayley Gray who has been named as a non-travelling reserve!
- Wednesday 13 August - Open Practice, Cowles Stadium 6:45pm
- Thursday 14 August - Exhibition against the unbeaten Lincoln University Bulls (Men's U23 team), Lincoln High School Gymnasium 7:30pm (entry by gold coing, limited viewing space, and vehicles must park on the road)
- Friday 15 August - Open Practice, Lincoln Event Centre 5:00pm
- Saturday 16 August - Exhibition against the unbeaten Burnside High School team (Men's U20), St. Margaret's College 5:30pm
