CBA Office Closing Dates Over Christmas 2017

The CBA Office will be closed over Christmas from 21 December 2017, and reopening on 11 January 2018. We'd like to thank all of the Canterbury basketball community for their support over the past year, with all that we have tried to implement!

Some Highlights of 2017:

  • Canterbury Wildcats becoming back to back champions in the WBC
  • Canterbury Rams qualifying for the NBL playoffs again
  • Lincoln University winning the UTSNZ women's Championship, and both men's and women's 3x3 (along with a free trip to compete in China!)
  • The University of Canterbury won the UTSNZ men's Championship
  • Our Representative teams had some great success to (Men winning U23 to U19 competitions) while the Piet Van Hasselt Canterbury Knights won the HoopNation Tournament
  • More and more people are coming to our High School Thompson and Whelan Trophy games - which then has the flow on effect of more people playing basketball!

  • To relive some of our highlights check out our YouTube Page - we're planning to add more content throughout the year to this, so subscriptions are much appreciated!
  • Our new, updated website is approaching readiness, with us hoping all the bugs are ironed out and its ready to go live early in 2018

We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Year, and we'll see you in the new year!
