Burnside Basketball Openings
Burnside has been one of the stronger high school basketball programmes in recent years, and is now advertising two openings to help lead them into the future:
Seniuor Boys' Head Coach
This position is responsible for coaching the Burnside High School Senior Boys' Basketball Team in the Under 17 and Senior Boys' Canterbury Basketball Association competitions.
There is also the opportunity for a suitably qualified applicant to co-ordinate the school-wide Basketball programme (refer separate Basketball Co-ordinator advertisement).
Basketball Co-ordinator
Fixed term, part-time 8 hours per week (at negotiated times), support staff, term time only position commencing Monday 5 March until Friday 28 September 2018.
To work in conjunction with the Sports Co-ordinators to deliver sport at Burnside High School in particular Basketball.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Lead, manage and co-ordinate the Basketball Programme and the people who participate in this. This role may be combined with the Burnside High School Senior Boys' Basketball Coach.
