McDonald's Thompson and Whelan Round Eight Preview
Round Eight is on tonight with 15 games taking place across Canterbury tonight (Ashburton will play CBHS on Thursday, and Rangi Ruru against StAC early in Term Three).
Avonside hosts St. Margaret’s at 4:00pm, and the Riccarton boys have the 4-3 Kaiapoi boys coming to pay a visit at 4:45pm.
Cashmere hosts a double header (5:15 and 7:00pm) with Christchurch Girls’ and St. Andrew’s playing. Hillmorton plays both the male and female teams from Ellesmere, Lincoln High has visits from Villa Maria and St. Thomas. Middleton Grange has the Burnside Girls, and then Shirley Boys’, while Rangiora (at the Mega Centre) has the Kaiapoi girls, then St. Bede’s boys coming.
At 7pm, Burnside hosts the Christ’s College boys in a battle of 6-1 teams, Cathedral hosts their close neighbours from Linwood college, and Hornby hosts Papanui.
