Patagonia Team Basketball Camp Fundraiser

The Canterbury Men's team, with support from the Canterbury Basketball Association, is running a fun, learn to play basketball camp, where skills are taught in the morning, and games are played in the afternoon. For both boys and girls wanting to learn and improve their basketball skills. In these day camps, children will learn some basketball skills and techniques in the morning, and play in basketball games in the afternoon.

Coaches at the clinic will be include the CBA's James Lissaman, and members of the Canterbury Men's Team travelling to Argentina: Aled Jones; James Cawthorn; and Xavier Shaw (all who have played in the NZNBL and are recipients of Lincoln University Sport Scholarships), as well as other members of the team. To find out more about the Patagonia team, please click here

UPDATE - complimentary transport from (and back to) Christchurch can be organised - please email sharon@afd.co.nz to request this (We're planning to have one pickup point in Burnside, and one on Bealey Avenue).

A Barbecue will be provided for campers each day at lunch, as well as prizes and giveaways throughout the camp.

 

Tickets are only $100 via Dash Tickets ($104 including Dash Fee), with a limit of 48 children


Participants will need to bring:

Morning Tea and small lunch with waterbottle

Named and appropriate clothing (sports shoes, shorts, t-shirt, singlet)

 

  • Camp is held at the Recreation Centre at Lincoln University (Through Gate 2, off Calder Drive). Camp staff will be on site from 8:45am until 3:15pm each day.
  • Dates - Wednesday 27 January until Friday 29 January
  • This camp is for children who will be in Years 5 through 9 in 2016
