Canterbury Age Group Rep Trials U15,U17, U19

Note: the U19 Girls trials will be held this week 13th April to avoid a clash with the WBC on the 4th May.

Even teams will be selected for the JIT (Queens Birthday) and the Metro and Mainland teams selected after that tournament.

The cost for the JIT is $120.  This covers all costs associated with training towards and attendance at the tournament.

Metro (North Island events) $1000, South Island events $750 includes build up games vs other teams going to Nationals and Training Camps

Mainland Tournaments $500

 Please Note: The Canterbury Basketball Association has established a Sporting Chance Fund to provide assistance to families who are facing financial barriers to participating in basketball programmes.  Confidential applications for assistancefor an upcoming program can be made on the official application form which can be found on our website (www.canterburybasketball.co.nz).  Applications for any player selected in the U15, U17 or U19 programmes will be available from 5th May. U17 Nationals is in North Harbour 9 – 12 July

U19 Nationals is in Nelson 16 – 19 July

U15 Mainlands is in Buller 12 – 14 July

U17 and U19(if possible) Mainlands Nelson 5-7 July

 

Trial Times are:

 

U15 Girls              8am – 10am - St Bedes

U15 Boys             10pm – 12pm - St Bedes

U17 Girls              6pm – 8pm - St Bedes

U17 Boys             4pm – 6pm - St Bedes

U19 Boys             2pm – 4pm - St Bedes

U19 Girls              7:45 – 9:15 13th April at St Bedes to avoid a clash with the WBC on the 4th May.
