Allstars Junior Club League Tips Off

The Allstars have been around for 15 years in a tournament format and this year we have expanded this to become a Junior Club Allstars League. Players representing the four main junior clubs will take part in a five week competition culminating with the finals on Canterbury Basketballs finals day 21st September.

Representative Junior Club teams from Pioneer (Pacers), Eastern (Wolverines), Wharenui (Gators) and the Bishopdale (YMCA) will take part. The grades are Yr 5-6 girls, Yr 5-6 Boys, yr 7-8 Girls and Yr7-8 Boys.

The first week tipped off with some excellent action and it was great to see players from the senior clubs involved in the coaching.
