Pioneer Open Day
Pioneer Basketball Club will be holding an Open Day on 29 January 2017
Pioneer would like to invite anyone who is interested in playing for the club in the 2017 season to come down for some skills, drills & games. They would also like to extend this opportunity to family members and anyone interested to come and find out a bit more about what the club has to offer in 2017.
The Pioneer Basketball Club will run Two separate skills sessions; a Morning session (10am-12pm) for anyone who is Y5/6 or younger at school AND a Afternoon session for anyone who is Y7/8 or older (12pm-2pm). These will be run as part of our Open Day.
Skills Sessions:
10.00am – 12noon at Pioneer Stadium ->Y5/6 and Younger -Register here
12.00pm – 2pm at Pioneer Stadium ->Y7/8 and Older -Register here
Everyone will be split into appropriate age groups for skills training and games.
Senior club Coaches and Players will be there to help run drills throughout the day.
It will be a great opportunity for the Junior Club members to learn from some of the Pioneer Basketball Club's senior members as well as providing a chance for the senior club to see how successfull the junior club is.
Booking for each session is essential.
- Open to all skill levels - Whether you are just beginning and want an introduction to the sport or if you have had experience playing already, we want you to come along.
- If you played for a Pioneer club team in 2016 and/or intend to play in 2017 then we want you to come.
- If you haven't played but want to learn how to get more involved, we want to see you.
Open to all ages - Even if you have finished school, the Afternoon session (12-2pm)is ideal for anybody who is at highschool or older - you can talk to us about playing/training opportunities.
Bring payment on the day
Register prior to day so you can just sign in on arrival and pay $5 per family for the session.
