Midweek Basketball Starting Next Week!
2016 sees 14 teams competiing in our two competitions, boding well for the competitiveness of these grades, which will also be making use of the Glory League Technology, just after it was covered by one-news.
Stalwart sides on the men's include Checkers, Raiders, University and Atami, while joining the fray this year is the "Slam Dunks", and a blast from the past in the form of the "Relics"
On the women's side we have Halswell, Checkers, Pioneer, Royals, UC and CYA, as well as Lincoln University and Gators joining this season.
As usual, Bruce Martin will be running the competition each night, and will no doubt be keen to hear from any people interested in refereeing.
