WBC is coming to Christchurch - May 15-17

The New Zealand Home Loans Canterbury Wildcats are competing in the second round of the Women’s Basketball Championships on the 15th to the 17th May.  All of the Tournament Games at are Cowles, with the exception of Friday afternoon, where 4 games will be played at Middleton Grange..

 

The Wildcats are off to a great start, with a 4 win, 1 loss record in the first tournament in Auckland. Currently they sit in 2nd place, and are hoping to cement their place in the Championship Playoffs in June

 

See Tall Fern Shea Crotty,  tall fern trialist Hayley Gray, veteran Pip Connell, up and coming Laken Wairau, Mary Goulding and Tessa Morrison,  as well as former NCAA Division 1 player Darcy Rose.

Friday 15th May:

  • 8:30am: Vs Tauranga City Coasters
  • 5pm: Vs Harbour Breeze (Rams Curtain Raiser)

Saturday 16th May

  • 9:00am: Vs Capital Flyers
  • 3:00pm: Vs Auckland Counties/Manakau Lady Hawks

Sunday 17th May

  • 10:30am: Vs Bartercard Taranaki Thunder
