Canterbury Connections on the BBNZ Development Tour

With BBNZ's deveopment tour slightly changing it's focus, to have a more important role with the actual New Zealand age-group teams, we are proud of the Canterbury players who have been selected for the 2014 teams.

Paige Willman and Andrea Prinsloo are both selections for the U16 Girls' Koru Team (scores/schedule)

Ben Harris is a member of the U16 Boys' Kea Team (scores/schedule)

Alfie Robinson is coached by former Canterbury Wildcat Head Coach Paul Neilson in the U14 Boys' Koru Team (scores/schedule)

Coach Paul Neilson has been part of some very close games, and has a chance to finish top of the pool if results go his team's way today:

"Very Very close pool we are in, if we beat WA Country and Vic beat SA it will be a 5 way tie for first, all on 3 wins 2 loses. IF we lose we will finish 5th even if Vic lose as they have the head to head over us and no finals. If we win we will get though as our loses have been close. So must get the Win over WA Country!!!!!!!!!"
