2014 Cowles Hoops Academy Dates Finalised
The Cowles Hoops Academy is for any children keen to learn the skills of playing basketball, as well as basketballers keen to improve their skills (ages 5-6*, 7-8 are from 3:45pm, and 9-13** are catered for from 4:40pm), and runs for 50 minutes per session on a Monday afternoon during term time.
The Hoops Programme is a great way to start learning fundamental skills needed for basketball. Since the Hoops programmes began, over 90% of our representative players have been a part of a Hoops at some stage of their development. Five of the players who attended the Hoops Programme in 2013 were selected for a Canterbury Representative Team (Mainland or Metro Teams) that same year!
Enrolments for the programme can be made by clicking on this link, or by downloading and returning the attached pdf. A full term of basketball coaching only costs $85! A family discount is available for multiple siblings:
One Child - $85
Two siblings - $160
Three siblings - $230
Four siblings - $300 (any additional siblings $70)

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
