2014 Patagonia Cup Tour

Canterbury Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the appointment of the management team for the 2014 Patagonia Cup, to be held in Bahía Blanca, Argentina – the home of Argentinean Basketball and Manu Ginóbili.

The programme kicks off on September 8th with the first trial at Cowles Stadium followed by a final trial on September 29th.

The Tour runs from 13th February until 28th February with the Patagonia Cup running from 15th February through until the 22nd February.  It will be contested by 6 teams including 5 teams from the Argentinean Federal League A.

The Association expects to send a squad made up of a combination of U23 eligible players with some older players to provide experience at this level.  As this a Canterbury team, all players must be registered to teams playing in the CBA competitions.

It is anticipated that the cost to participants will be between $3000 and $3500 per person which includes flights, accommodation, transfers and a meal allowance.
