HBS Bank Hawks defeated Super City Rangers 61 to 51, Saints by 81 to 49 at this weekends Blitz at Te Rauparaha Arena on Saturday but lost to Nelson 68 to 64 on Sunday.
Head Coach Tab Baldwin said "After an indifferent first up effort against the Rangers, our HBS Bank Hawks put in a stellar effort dominating the game from the tip-off. With a 20 point lead at the half, all players got time and performed well "
After the Nelson Game Coach Tab Baldwin commented, "We had a strong defensive game but poor outside shooting and Darko Cohadarevic in early foul trouble ended up to much for us to overcome".
