BBNZ Level One Coach Programme
Come along to our coach training programme and gain the Basketball New Zealand Level One Coach Certificate. This certificate is required for coaches coaching at BBNZ tournaments.
This is a distance learning programme supported by three evenings of introduction and support in December, January and February.
The first session is at 5.30 pm on Wednesday 5th at Basketball HQ, 85 Ford Road, Napier.
The course includes:
MODULE ONE: THE ROLE OF THE COACH, COACHING PHILOSOPHY AND CODES OF CONDUCT
MODULE TWO: PLANNING THE SEASON, PRACTISES AND GAMES
MODULE THREE: EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION WITH PLAYERS, REFEREES AND PARENTS
MODULE FOUR: COACHING AND DEVELOPING SKILL
MODULE FIVE: FUNDAMENTALS, SKILLS & DRILLS
MODULE SIX: EVALUATING YOUR COACHING
Cost $65.00 which includes BBNZ registration, coaches manual and all assessments.
