Girlzis our brand new all girls (aged 8-12 years) basketball programme which has been specially designed to deliver basketball to girls on their own terms in an exciting ...program which goes beyond the court and into the heart.
BBHB is hoping to develop a basketball sorority that will support generations of female participants in all areas of basketball and it all starts with Pink Ball.
The Girlz Pink Ball focuses on fostering leadership and a positive peer environment through a program which rewards personal development and values quality relationships.
We all know Girlz just want to have fun, so the Pink Ball court is a little different than your normal training session. We use pink balls, we giggle, we dance, we play and we make a lot of new friends.
Pink Ball is a way of life and Pink Parents will soon find out that they have a role to play too. The Pink Ball program supports parents accessing basketball as a way to connect in a positive way with their daughters during adolescence. We will give you opportunities to join in pink ball activities at training and during the week with the Pink Passport tasks. We will also give you a resource to help you to enjoy basketball related activities as a family.
The cost is $30.00 for 6 weeks and there is an option of purchasing a pink ball and t-shirt.

Week 3 - 24 March
Week 4 - 31 March 3.45 to 4.45 pm
Week 5 – 7 April
Week 6 – 14 April 3.45 to 4.45 pm
